Intro
I didn’t grow up planning to lead men up mountains.
I didn’t picture myself holding space for grief, challenge, or breakthrough.
But somewhere between the numbness I used to call life growing up, and the mountains I now climb with other men, I found something worth living for.
I was raised in the northeast of England, shaped by a background where silence was safer than speaking up, and rage & outbursts was easier than feeling.
I ran to the military, into drugs, into anything that helped me not feel.
The Army gave me structure.
But peace? Far from it.
Peace came from the jungles and mountains, but not in the ways people romanticise. It came from hard truths, from facing everything I used to run from, and from learning that real strength is quiet and relational, not loud and performative.
The Brotherhood didn’t come from some polished vision board or because my parents gave me money to set up a successful business in their footsteps.
It came from a deeper question: Can men just stop killing themselves?
That’s what we’re building, one conversation, one trek, one uncomfortable, necessary moment at a time.
Why I Created The Brotherhood:
My best friend ended his life.
And I was the one with the training the one people came to… But I couldn’t reach him in time.
That loss didn’t just hurt.
It lit a fire that hasn’t gone out since.
Men are suffering & quietly dying.
Not just from suicide, but from pretending, from carrying things no one ever taught us how to hold.
And no one’s coming to rescue us.
We have to do it ourselves.
Together.
That’s why I built The Brotherhood.
Not as a retreat. Not as a therapy room.
But as a living, breathing space where men can show up without the defence mechanisms and be met by other men who get it.
Just real connection, real growth, and a path forward that doesn’t leave anyone behind.
What We Do
We take men into deserts.
We take them up mountains.
Not to escape but to create some space for you to figure it out.
The Brotherhood isn’t a programme.
It’s more of a path.
And we walk it together everyday.
We coach men, through mentorship, challenge & reliable tools.
We don’t stand at the front with answers.
We sit beside you with questions, and figure out why.
Every week, we hold free men’s circles on zoom.
Where you can say the thing you’ve never said, and be met with respect.
We blend psychology, lived experience, and honest conversation.
Not to fix men but to walk with them as they change themselves.
This is mentorship.
This is friendship.
This is brotherhood.
